Summer 2013; home exchange for an architecturally spectacular modern nest. To date, our BC experiences included a Whistler snowboarding CME trip, two winter cold water diving trips, a kayak camping trip, a San Juan Island biking trip and a Vancouver City “City” trip. I guess we like it up there.
This was a mountain biking/hiking trip. On it, we had to steer around an Iron Man competition and find happiness near the Cheakamus River, hiking amongst the ruin of a mid century spectacular train wreck/derailment which has turned into a graffiti “museum” and extreme BMX playground. -Steve
