The Street, by Steve

I hate to be in front of a camera lens but find strangers irresistible.

I approach shooting the street very much like I do underwater photography, open for things that surprise or draw me in. I look for situations that tell stories; sometimes theirs, sometimes mine, and hopefully sometimes yours. Capturing the moment is a compulsion. Missing a compelling shot fills me with a sense of loss and regret. Each moment is unique and will never happen again. – steve
