This vintage photo booth series is a recent curatorial and photo restoration project, culling hundreds of pictures sourced solely from the internet. Criteria for making the cut included mystery, storytelling, humor, accident, and pure visual appeal. Way before smartphones, people seldom had their portraits taken. Formal sittings were out of reach for most and the photo booth provided an affordable, private, behind the curtain session. There is a welcome
